SWIMMING POOL EMERGENCY RESCUE AWARD

The Swimming Pool Emergency Rescue Award (SPERA) is a qualification designed to teach pool staff and lifeguards how to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies in a swimming pool environment.

£150 up to 12 people, 2 day course

NRASTC

The NRASTC (National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches) is a qualification for swimming teachers, coaches and instructors working in pools, particularly where the water is deeper than standing depth.

£130 up to 12 people, 2 day course

NRASTC LIGHT

The NRASTC LIGHT is a shorter version of the National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches, designed for instructors who teach in pools where a qualified lifeguard and first aid cover are already provided.

£110 up to 12 people, 1 day course

ROOKIE LIFEGUARD

The Rookie Lifeguard programme is designed to teach children aged 8 to 12 essential water safety and lifesaving skills in a fun and engaging way.

Participants learn hazard recognition, emergency response and basic rescue techniques, while also developing confidence & leadership abilities.

£6 per person, per session

NPLQ

The National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is the UK’s leading pool lifeguard certification, designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge to supervise swimming pools safely and respond effectively in emergencies.

The course covers pool rescue techniques, lifeguarding theory, first aid and CPR.

£250 up to 12 people, 6 day course

NPLQ RENEWAL

An NPLQ renewal is a refresher and reassessment course for existing National Pool Lifeguard Qualification holders to ensure their skills and knowledge remain current. It typically involves updating practical rescue techniques, reviewing lifeguarding theory, and revalidating first aid and CPR competencies.

£130 up to 6 people, 1 day course

FAW

An FAW (First Aid at Work) course is a qualification in the UK that trains participants to provide emergency first aid in the workplace. It covers how to assess an incident, manage casualties, perform CPR, treat wounds, burns, fractures and other common injuries.

£230 up to 12 people, 3 day course

EFAW

An EFAW (Emergency First Aid at Work) course is designed to equip participants with the essential skills to respond to workplace emergencies. It covers assessing an incident, performing CPR, treating minor injuries such as cuts, burns and choking.
